FPA and LifeCare Partner to Educate Millions of American Workers, Support Work/Life Balance
DENVER – The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the leading professional association for Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professionals, and
, a leading provider of work/life services, is pleased to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership that will educate and empower millions of American workers to take control of their finances.
The partnership will bring FPA generated content to LifeCare's clients in an effort to create an education hub on LifeCare's platform. The partnership will also include initiatives that will provide LifeCare members with an efficient resource center for a spectrum of financial services to support life events with effective cash flow management, whether saving for college or buying a new home in addition to one-on-one interaction with CFP® professionals when desired, to help members address personal financial planning challenges.

"By working with LifeCare, FPA is able to align its expertise and network of CFP® professionals with a national provider of work/life services. While creating stronger recognition of FPA, we will also be in a position to potentially educate and assist millions of Americans with the resources they need to achieve financial security."
The partnership calls for the implementation of several additional key initiatives and programs that will be phased in throughout 2015. Among those initiatives is the integration of the
program on the LifeCare platform to empower employees who desire professional financial planning expertise, with easy access to CFP® professionals and a research project to study the retirement readiness and awareness of financial planning among American workers.
