DENVER (April 2, 2019) – The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the principal membership organization for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals and those who support the financial planning process, launched a new FPA Job Board to help financial planners and employers easily connect and explore rewarding and meaningful financial planning career opportunities.

The FPA Job Board allows job seekers to showcase their skills and work experience to prospective employers and provides employers access to a qualified talent pool to fill open positions. In partnership with the Financial Job Exchange (FJE), the new FPA Job Board aims to provide the most relevant jobs for candidates and the highest return on investment for employers.

"FPA desires to support the next generation of financial planners throughout their career paths. Many of the programs and initiatives we are engaging in today, including the launch of the FPA Next Generation Planner publication, is positioning the association as a leader in this area," says FPA Executive Director/CEO Lauren M. Schadle, CAE. "By redesigning and re-engineering the FPA Job Board, the next generation – and other potential job seekers – will connect with those employers looking to onboard new, dynamic talent."

Through the FPA Job Board, job seekers can boost their chances of finding new opportunities that best match their skillsets with access to additional paid resources, including resume writing, reference checking, and career coaching.

With more than 9,600 searchable resumes posted on the new FPA Job Board, employers and recruiters are able to identify the best candidates to meet their staffing needs. Employer and recruiter benefits include posting internships and jobs, managing applications, searching resumes, creating resume alerts, viewing reports and statistics, and integrating with Google's new job search feature. Employers can also catch the eye of potential new hires by taking advantage of additional resources, including branding and job posting videos.
