FPA is the home for young professionals. FPA NexGen, a community focused on the next generation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals​, welcomes FPA members 36 and under ways to engage with peers and learn about opportunities and challenges young professionals are facing in the profession. 
This community of young planners (age 36 and under) strive to:​
  • ​Support, advise and encourage one another in professional advancement
  • Promote, foster and direct programs that aid in the transfer of knowledge from the pioneers of financial planning to the future of the profession
  • ​​Explore issues common to younger planners and seek means of accentuating the positives and finding resolutions for the negatives​​​
NexGen Gathering, an annual event hosted by FPA NexGen, brings together the best and brightest minds of the next generation of financial planners. Attend this special event to discuss hot topics and trends facing the future of financial planning and get to know your peers, collegues and FPA leadership in an intimate, free-flow setting.
