Carol S. Craigie, CFP® currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the largest membership organization for CFP® professionals in the country, and includes many others who support the financial planning process. 

Currently, Carol is the founder and managing partner with Fiscal Fitness Clubs of America; a Financial Wellness program that breaks financial planning actions into manageable steps and provides the education, coaching and peer support to empower people to get what they really want from their money.

In her past, Carol was a full time professor at the College for Financial Planning  where she designed, wrote and taught the capstone course. She likes to laugh and say "I really do get to claim I wrote the textbook on Financial Plan Development!" She also wrote textbooks on Insurance and Risk Management. She has authored numerous seminars and articles on applying behavioral economic concepts to the financial planning process. Prior to her stint with the College for Financial Planning, Carol was the Director of Financial Planning for large institutions including Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and Key Bank where she designed, supervised and trained financial planners and acted as lead financial planner in many cases.

Carol is active in the Colorado Chapter of the FPA, the founding president of the Women's Estate Planning Council and active in pro-bono work. She is a frequent speaker on a variety of topics, including ethics.

Carol is a psychologist turned financial planner when her husband became totally disabled at a young age and she is passionate about the difference financial planning can make it people's lives; thus her involvement with FPA.​
