Cathy Seeber, CFP® currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the largest membership organization for CFP® professionals in the country, and includes many others who support the financial planning process.
Cathy is a Principal and Senior Financial Advisor with Wescott Financial Advisory Group, LLC with offices in Philadelphia, Boca Raton, Miami and San Francisco. Founded in 1987, Wescott is an SEC-registered, fee-only investment firm with more than $2 billion in assets under management. Cathy has been with Wescott for close to 15 years, working with clients facing life-altering events; this long-term experience brings a unique perspective and a commitment to positive action. She is currently pursuing the designation of a Certified Financial Transitionist™ (CFT).
Cathy has held various FPA leadership roles both locally and nationally and most recently served as Chair of the P. Kemp Fain, Jr. and Heart of Financial Planning Awards Committee for two years. In addition, she currently Chairs the OneFPA Task Force with a mission to enhance the indentity of FPA’s strategic initiatives through the collaboration of various stakeholders. Locally, Cathy served as Director of Government Relations, Director of Pro Bono, Director of Media Relations/Public Awareness and held the role of President in 2012 of the FPA of Philadelphia Tri-State Area chapter.
Cathy received an undergraduate degree in business administration (cum laude) from Goldey-Beacom College and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional and a Registered Trust Representative.
