, currently serves on the board of directors as the 2018 Chair for the Financial Planning Association

(FPA

), the largest membership organization for CFP
®
professionals in the country, and includes many others who support the financial planning process.
Pike is Vice President at Tanglewood Legacy Advisors, LLC in Houston, TX, an independent firm which develops unique private wealth planning as well as investment strategies and exit planning services to entrepreneurs, executives and private business owners – serving as the Family CFO. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Pike was a member of the board of directors with FPA of Houston for six years, having served as membership director and two terms as president and chair during that time. Additionally, Pike has served on several FPA National task forces including the Leadership Advisory Council, Practitioner Advisory Council and the Heart of Financial Planning Task Force. As a three-year member of the FPA Chapter Leadership Advisory Council (CLAC), a volunteer group of former chapter presidents who foster chapter leadership, Pike presided as chair in 2011.
Pike holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Consumer Economics with a concentration in financial planning, and a banking degree from the American Institute of Banking.
