FPA Residency

New to the profession? Get Experience. Learn to Communicate. Great Relationships. Led by a faculty of highly experienced and nationally known deans and mentors, FPA Residency is an intensive case-study-based learning approach that develops the skills required to become a confident and competent practitioner. Program participants are eligible for 28 hours of CFP Board CE or three months of financial planning work experience. Learn more about upcoming programs this year.

Knowledge Circles

Gathering places for like-minded members who want to engage in dialogue about best practices and innovations on specific subjects including business success and retirement/social security planning. Journal of Financial Planning

Read our award-winning, peer-reviewed Journal of Financial Planning to stay up-to-date on practice management solutions that will help you advance in your career. The Journal features articles, interviews, columns, and technical contributions that apply directly to the profession. CFP Board CE credit is available in each monthly publication and FPA members are able to access archives of past issues. ​

Research and Practice Institute

​​​​​​​The Research and Practice Institute (RPI) conducts original research on profession-related and business-centric topics and issues.
